The housing starts in October they registered a fall of 4.2% from the revised data of 1,488,000 (annual) in September to 1,425,000, higher than the 1,410,000 of the market consensus.
The building permits in October they decreased 2.4%, from 1,564,000 to 1,526,000, higher than the 1,512,000 expected.
Along with these figures came an unexpected drop in the Philly Fed index and the jobless claims report.
