US Judge Orders Authorities to guarantee decent detention conditions for immigrants

Federal Judge of New York ordered yesterday to improve the conditions of immigrants held by police in a Manhattan building, as defenders of their rights complain that they are miserable. Judge Louis Kaplan, following the appeal of assistance to immigrants, issued this order for the people held on the 10th floor of a building where a special court is also housed in migration cases, the 26 Federal Plaza.
