US National Security Advisor resigns after Capitol storming, Congress ready to confirm Biden as next president

In an unexpected turn of events after the Wednesday afternoon / evening attack on Capitol Hill, Bloomberg confirms the Resignation of US National Security Advisor Matt Pottinger, at your expense.

Pottinger is among WH officials dismayed by the protesters’ attack and Trump’s role in inciting violence. Pottinger intended to resign on Election Day regardless of the outcome, but stayed at O’Brien’s request. Jennifer Jacobs, WH senior reporter for Bloomberg, tweeted.

The US Dollar Index clears losses to trade neutral at 89.50, at time of writing. The indicator touched a 33-month low of 89.22 in European trading on Wednesday.
