South Korean President Moon Jae-in confirmed that the rocket fired from Pyongyang in an easterly direction from the peninsula to the Sea of Korea, or Sea of Japan, was indeed an ICBM.
The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, kept a moratorium on rocket launches of this type from the end of 2017 until yesterday.
