US offers $10 million reward for information on Russian blog Rybar

US authorities have announced they are offering a $10 million reward for information about the Russian blog Rybar, which Washington says is trying to destabilize the US amid an election campaign. Nine people are named in a release from the Rewards for Justice program, an “anti-terrorism” intelligence-gathering effort under the State Department. Among the suspects accused of running Rybar’s “malicious influence operations” is Mikhail Zvinchuk, the founder of the blog and channel on the Telegram platform, who is believed to have close ties to the Russian military. More than 1.3 million people follow Rybar’s information on the armed conflict in Ukraine.
