The Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced today that it has ordered teams deployed to search for the cylindrical object that shot down a US fighter jet over the Yukon Territories yesterday so they can analyze it and learn more about its mission.
“Tracing teams are in the field looking for the object to analyze. There is still a lot to learn about it. That’s why the analysis of this item is going to be very important,” Trudeau told reporters.
Yesterday Saturday one “unidentified object” was shot down while flying at high altitude in the northwestern part of the country, a day after the US shot down another “object” where it was high above Alaska.
“I have ordered the downing of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace,” Trudeau said via Twitter. “His fighter jets took off in haste Canada and the US and an American (pursuit) F-22 hit the object,” he clarified.
I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. Canadian Forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage of the object. Thank you to NORAD for keeping the watch over North America.

The Canadian Armed Forces will “collect and analyze” the wreckage of the “object,” he added.
For his part, US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, in an interview with ABC today, said that US National Security Agency officials believe that the flying objects that were shot down over Alaska and Canada were balloons.
He did not elaborate on the matter, but said that these objects were much smaller afrom the first balloon to travel in American airspace and was shot down over South Carolina last Saturday.
Schumer pledged that if American citizens or American interests are at risk, appropriate actions will be taken.
The object shot down yesterday over the Yukon territories is the second shot down by a US fighter jet in about 24 hours. flying «object” which roughly had “the size of a small car“was destroyed yesterday Friday because it posed a “threat to aviation security”, according to John Kirby, spokesman for the National Security Council of the American presidency.

Fishermen in the area were called by message to take care of their safety according to the Athens News Agency.
