US: The release of five other Guantanamo detainees has been approved

The United States of America approved the release of five other detainees from his military prison Guantναnamo, where a total of 39 people remain, suspected of collaborating with terrorist organizations, such as Al Qaeda.

Yemenis Muaz Hamza al-Alawi, Suhail al-Sarabi and Omar al-Ramah, Somalis Guled Hassan Duran and Kenyan Mohammed Abdul Malik Bazabou received the “green light” to release the detainees, according to the release.

There are a total of 18 detainees who will be released if USA find a country to accept them. Their release may be delayed because USA do not repatriate ex – prisoners to Yemen because of the war and the Somalia, a country in crisis for many years.

Independent experts of United States called this week USA to close his military prison Guantναnamo where “human rights are constantly violated”.

Of the 39 detainees remaining at Guantναnamo, 10 are awaiting trial by a military tribunal, which has issued just two convictions in the last 20 years.
