A customer at a Houston Mexican restaurant shot and killed a robber inside the store late Thursday night, local police said.
Witnesses told police that a man wearing a mask entered the restaurant and pointed a gun at customers, demanding their money.
As he grabbed the money from table to table, one of the customers pulled out his own gun and shot the robber several times, killing him, according to security footage.
The customer then took all the money the robber had taken and returned it to the other customers before fleeing the premises.
When first responders arrived, they found the robber dead. Police said he was a man in his 20s, but his identity is pending. At the same time, no charges have been brought against the client, who is being sought.
