US President Joe Biden remains positive for Covid-19, as revealed by a diagnostic test he underwent today, according to the briefing note from his doctor, Kevin O’Connor, released by the White House.
Biden is feeling “very well” and dealing with a “very occasional” cough, which is showing signs of subsiding, according to O’Connor. The American president will still be in quarantine.
On July 21, President Biden was diagnosed positive for Covid-19 and shortly after he recovered and came out of quarantine, he tested positive again last Saturday.
The US president’s doctor spoke of a rare case of the disease “coming back”, which is seen in a small percentage of patients taking the antiviral drug Paxlovid.
