When officers arrived, they found a seriously injured, unconscious man who was rushed to a hospital.
A woman who was slightly injured received first aid on the spot and was also taken to a hospital as a precaution. According to NBC, her life is not in danger.
Police have launched a manhunt to identify the perpetrator of the attack, whose motives remain unclear.
