A man who murdered four students at the University of Eidaho in November 2022 was sentenced to life imprisonment, while the mother of one of the victims expressed her dissatisfaction because she would not be executed. Brian Cochberger, a 30 -year -old, a former criminal justice student, initially denied the murders, but later confessed to an agreement that secured him to avoid the death penalty.
