“The Russian Defense Ministry is in the process of buying millions of rockets and artillery shells from North Korea for use on the battlefield in Ukraine,” an official said by email when asked about the newspaper’s report.
Ukraine has recently launched counterattacks in several areas, including around Kherson, which Russia has held since the beginning of the invasion. In preparation for these attacks, Ukrainian forces hit Russian supply areas, including those containing artillery and ammunition.
