USA: Shots with three dead in supermarket – Gunman kills mother and infant and commits suicide

A gunman shot and killed a woman and an infant before turning the gun on himself at Super Market in Florida on Thursday, an episode added to the long series of similar tragedies in USA lately.

The murderous was made at a branch of the Publix chain in the Royal Palm Beach borough, 130 miles north of Miami, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

“When they arrived, police found three people dead with bullet wounds.” police said via Twitter. “An adult, an adult and a child.”

The man, the perpetrator, turned the gun on himself, confirmed to the French Agency Terry Barbera, the sheriff’s representative, broadcasts AMPE.

Lynn Waterman, 61, was buying cigarettes when she heard gunshots.

“Everyone came out running and I was standing in the parking lot, wondering ‘what am I doing here?’ “The gunman can come out and throw us,” he told the local Sun Sentinel newspaper.

Florida – USA: New bloody incident

Florida has already experienced several such tragedies lately.

The Sunday night, fire during a celebration resulted in three people losing their lives and another five being injured in Miami.

The June 1st, three gunmen killed two people and wounded 21 others when they opened fire on bar bars in Chaialia, a community in Miami-Dade County.

Two days earlier, a gunman opened fire on a crowd from his car in the Winwood district, well known for its street-art, also in Miami, killing one person and injuring six others.

“We are now dealing with violence with the use of firearms with apathy,” said Melissa McKinley, an official in the Palm Beach area where the tragic incident took place yesterday.

This year, the number of victims of violent incidents using firearms has increased across the country. More than 19,000 people have been killed by bullets since January, according to the non-governmental organization Gun Violence Archive. This number includes suicides, reports AMPE.

Some 260 people have been killed in select mass shootings, gunfire incidents that have at least four casualties, according to US authorities.

Tomorrow Saturday in Florida there will be events to pay tribute to the victims of the massacre five years ago in Orlando, in the central part of the country, when a gunman killed 49 people in a gay bar.
