Six people, including at least two teenagers, were wounded by gunfire outside a hospital in the Memphis, Tennessee area, local media reported.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. local time outside Methodist North Hospital in Raleigh, a community of 31,000 northwest of Memphis, according to CBS affiliate News Channel 3.
Police officers told the channel that three of the injured were in possession of a vehicle believed to be stolen and have been taken into custody. Three of the injured adults and one teenager are in critical condition.
A bullet-riddled car remained outside the hospital. The hospital was locked down for two hours.
