Inter-party letter to the State Department, seeking to stop Turkey’s plans to transfer the S-400 to Syria, have sent US legislators. According to ERT journalist Lena Argir, the letter was drawn up by Florida MPs Guy Bilirakis and Illinois Brad Schneider to the US Foreign Ministry’s political-military affairs management. As stated, “we are writing this letter to express our serious concern about recent reports that say US officials are considering the Turkish proposal for the transfer of Russian S-400 missile systems to Syria. The fact that this scenario is examined in the context of high -level diplomatic debates, requires immediate evaluation by the US Foreign Ministry.
