USD/CAD price forecast: Try 1,4350 resistance near the nine -day EMA

  • The USD/CAD proves the main barrier in the nine -day EMA of 1,4362.
  • The feeling of the market remains neutral while the torque is consolidated within a rectangular pattern.
  • The psychological level of 1,4300 appears as the initial support.

The USD/CAD torque ends its four -day loss streak, quoting around 1,4350 during the European session on Monday. The technical analysis of the daily chart suggests uncertainty between buyers and vendors with respect to the long -term direction of the asset, since the torque is consolidated within a rectangular pattern.

However, the USD/CAD torque remains below the exponential mobile socks (EMAS) of nine and 14 days, underlining the bearish feeling and indicating a weak action of the short -term price. This positioning reflects a continuous sales interest and suggests greater downward risks.

In addition, the 14 -day relative force index (RSI) remains below the 50 -mark, indicating a continuous negative momentum and reinforcing the bearish perspective.

Down, the immediate support appears at the psychological level of 1,4300, followed by the lower threshold of the rectangle in 1,4280. A rupture below this support zone could strengthen the bassist bias and exert down pressure over the USD/CAD torque, potentially pushing it towards the psychological level of 1,4200.

The USD/CAD torque finds initial resistance in the nine -day EMA of 1,4362, followed by the 14 -day EMA in 1,4373. A rupture above these levels could improve the short -term price momentum and support the torque to test the upper threshold of the rectangle in 1,4520.
