The second decision of the Minister of Finance for the subsidy of businesses and agricultural holdings affected by the fires of Northern Evia last summer was published on Friday, March 11, 2022, in the Government Gazette (Government Gazette B ‘1102 / 11.03.2022).
It is noted that the subsidy amounts to 70% of the estimated damage, which is the highest percentage that has been provided for such cases, while the two ministerial decisions provide for the subsidy of 213 companies (45 companies and 168 agricultural holdings) with 1,590,934 euro.
The Deputy Minister, in addition to the Prime Minister, in charge of State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Christos Triantopoulos, on the occasion of the publication of the decision in the Official Gazette, in a statement, stressed:
“Compensation proceedings for the fire-affected enterprises and agricultural holdings are continuing at a rapid pace. On Friday, March 11, the Government Gazette published the second decision of the Minister of Finance to subsidize businesses and agricultural holdings affected by the great summer fire in the North. , then, of course, and the provision of first aid up to 8,000 euros to the victims.
Specifically, with the second decision, 160 agricultural holdings will be compensated with 70% of their estimated damage, which corresponds to 475,034 euros. In total, with the two ministerial decisions that have been published so far, the subsidy of 213 companies (45 companies and 168 agricultural holdings) is foreseen with 1,590,934 euros. The process of paying the subsidy of 70% of the estimated damage to companies of Northern Evia has already begun. In close cooperation with the Region, the process of subsidizing businesses and agricultural holdings continues, in order to proceed with new ministerial decisions and at the same time to clear the files of the beneficiaries for their compensation as soon as possible “.
The government reminds that the documents that must be submitted to the affected agricultural holdings in the Region in order to complete – after being sent to the Ministry of Finance – the process and the payment, are the following:
1. Responsible Statement with the authentic signature certified that the beneficiary is not compensated by another body for the damages of par. 3 of article 4 of law 4797/2021 caused by the fires of August 2021 in Evia (also published electronically from www .gov.gr with TAXIS codes).
2. Certificate of the insurance company, which shows the total amount of compensation received or to be received by the beneficiary or otherwise Responsible Statement of the beneficiary of non-existence of insurance contract with the authenticity of the signature certified (the latter is also issued electronically by www.gov .gr with TAXIS codes).
3. Document, from which the bank account number of the beneficiary company (IBAN) is derived, as well as the credit institution to which it belongs.
4. Especially for the case of damages in building installations, the declaration of real estate data E9 is also required.
5. Proof of submission of a single aid declaration to the Integrated Control Management System with protocol number.
6. Insurance information from ELGA.
7. Certificate of registration in the register of farmers and agricultural holdings of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, according to the tax data of the year of fire and the year of payment, where possible.
8. Responsible Statement that the beneficiary was a professional farmer during the fires in Evia in August 2021 and that he maintains this capacity until today (also published electronically by www.gov.gr with TAXIS codes).
Also, for the convenience of both businesses and agricultural holdings, for the beneficiaries that the grant also concerns damage to buildings, the required certificate of the Directorate of Natural Disaster Rehabilitation of the General Secretariat of Infrastructure of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, which “Housing assistance has not been approved for the same building damage based on article 10 of law 2576/1998, as amended by article 84 of law 4313/2014 and is valid and no relevant application is pending in it”, will be received electronically by the Region, for all beneficiaries, upon request to the Directorate of Natural Disaster Recovery of the General Secretariat of Infrastructure of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Finally, for the convenience of agricultural holdings, the certificate of registration in the register of farmers and agricultural holdings of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food can also be searched electronically.
