Scandinavia’s largest tour operator for Greek destinations plans to bring 500,000 visitors to Greece in 2022, while last year a hotel was opened in Sivota and after a decision of the Swedish Olympic Committee, the preparation of the country’s Olympic team began in Epirus.
Mr. Kikilias agreed with the representatives of Apollo to strengthen the effort made by the Ministry of Tourism, as the Group will inaugurate its new hotel in Lemnos in May, which is also approved by the Swedish Olympic Committee for the preparation of its athletes. while preparing a new hotel in Rhodes.
He pointed out that sports tourism has great potential, due to the global trend of visitors to health and wellness, experiential travel and contact with nature, and its promotion is a strategic priority of Greek Tourism.

Finally, Mr. Larsen informed Mr. Kikilias about the opening of an Apollo office in France and agreed on the next steps to attract French tourists to Greece.
