V. Kikilias: Strategic goal of Greek tourism, the extension of the tourist season

The plan for the extension of the tourist season in Greece was presented by the Minister of Tourism, Vassilis Kikilias in an interview given to CNN Greece.

The Minister of Tourism identifies as strategic goals of Greek tourism, the extension of the tourist season, through the support of winter destinations and the city break in Athens, Thessaloniki and other cities, but also, as the Prime Minister has emphasized, the development of a new sustainable tourism model that will effectively address the environmental footprint. It also makes tourism policy a priority in attracting new investment, strengthening infrastructure and maintaining quality and authenticity.
