The elaboration of an inter-ministerial structure for the acceleration of infrastructure projects on islands and tourist destinations, under the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, was announced by the Minister of Tourism, Vassilis Kikilias, from the podium of the Delphi Forum.
Speaking at a panel on sustainable tourism, Minister of Tourism Vassilis Kikilias pointed out that the goal of the inter-ministerial is to run the processes quickly, always depending on the carrying capacity of the islands and tourist destinations and guided by sustainable development.
“Greece is a unique tourist destination and in this context we will defend it”, Mr. Kikilias pointed out and added:
“From the first moment, we take care through studies and in cooperation with the competent bodies, to create a sustainable tourism model, for the benefit of the country and the generations to come.”
