Vale do Anhangabaú will be fully open to the public on December 6th, informed the city of São Paulo this Thursday (18th).
As of that date, the Viva o Vale Consortium will fully assume the Anhangabaú area, which has recently undergone renovations and has been a leisure spot for São Paulo residents.
In July, the site was reopened and partially opened to visitors – at the time, fences delimited access to certain areas.
The Vale works were completed in October of last year. At that time, the tender for the area was won by an offer of R$ 6.5 million from the Viaduto do Chá Consortium, which did not deliver the documents within the necessary time.
In March of this year, the municipal administration summoned Viva o Vale, runner-up in the concession process, to manage the new Anhangabaú for the next 10 years.
Vale do Anhangabaú is located in downtown São Paulo between Praça da Bandeira and Avenida São João.
