One of the main turns in the plot of “Vale Tudo” is scheduled to start next Monday (21), when Rubinho (Julio Andrade) dies in the arms of his ex-wife, Raquel (Taís Araújo).
The musician will be boarding for New York, happy of life, in the jet of Marco Aurélio (Alexandre Nero). However, at the time of takeoff, he will suffer a fulminant heart attack.
Claudia (Rhaisa Batista), Marco Aurélio’s girlfriend, will provide first aid and call an ambulance. Rachel, who will still be in place after saying goodbye to her ex-husband, will notice that something wrong is happening because of the delay of the flight. She and Claudia even accompany Rubinho to the hospital, but he can’t resist.
In the confusion, Rubinho’s suitcase is exchanged with Marco Aurélio’s-who is filled with dollars stolen by the TCA vice president who would be taken abroad. Raquel will have his suitcase with the intention of handing her to daughter Maria de Fátima (Bella Campos), as a memory of her father, but she will reject the present.
Ivan (Renato Góes) will end up opening his suitcase days later. Surprised by the content, he is willing to keep the money to solve his financial problems, but Rachel warns that she plans to hand over the suitcase to the police.
Ivan’s ambition will be a great disappointment for Rachel, which usually puts honesty above all. From there, the relationship between the two in “Vale Tudo” will be permeated by conflicts.
