Originally displayed in 1988, “VALUE EVERYTHING” won a Remake on TV Globo in 2025 . Originally written in partnership by Gilberto Braga , Aguinaldo Silva and Leonor Bassères the new version will be adapted by the author Manuela Dias.
Corruption, games of interest and lack of ethics are the background of the soap opera that accompanies Raquel Accioli, a struggling woman who was abandoned by her husband with whom she was married for ten years. She moves with her daughter Maria de Fátima to her father’s house, Salvador, in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná.
Of opposite personalities, while Rachel seeks to keep honestly, preserving the humility with which he was created, Fatima is unscrupulous, horrifying poverty and is capable of everything to enrich.
“The issue of honesty is the main subject of ‘Vale Tudo’. Is it possible to be successful being honest? This is a theme that permeates the whole soap opera and that follows current. And being honest is something timeless, because ethics does not change. It is a question that is still totally pertinent and needs to be debated,” said Manuela Dias, in the material disclosed to the press.
The new version of “Vale Tudo” is starring Taís Araújo (Raquel) and Bella Campos (Maria de Fátima) . The artistic direction is Paulo Silvestrini the same who worked in “Go in faith” (2023).
Despite bringing the essence of the original, the remake promises to bring changes – from technological to moral and behavioral – in order to reflect the new times and social transformations that have occurred in recent decades.

Social context
With a 37 -year -old jump, the remake should reflect a more current context, bringing to light contemporary issues that afflict society during the plot. Social networks, which did not exist in the 1980s, and new economic paradigms should be highlighted.
“Our wish is that, through the characters and situations created, we can promote an environment of discussion of relevant issues for today’s Brazilian society. About many of these issues, our understanding has sometimes changed, sometimes for the worse, many things have been renamed and resignified. We want to stimulate dialogue,” said Manuela Dias.

Already in the new work, Maria de Fátima will intend to work as digital influencer and get rich at any cost. The conflict between the two women, from the diverse ambition of the daughter, will be the central plot of the production.
In material released by Globo, Bella Campos delivered more about Maria de Fátima.
“At the same time it is ambitious, she is a character full of layers, who carries her pain and vulnerabilities, which makes her so fascinating. And what most enchants me is this strength, this courage to move on, even if it means facing judgments. I think, as a woman, I also identify with this claw of wanting more, not content with what is established, but always trying to keep my principles,” revealed.

Vila Isabel
Unlike the original plot, the current work will feature Vila Isabel, in the North Zone of Rio.
“Vila Isabel is the opposite of individualism, each other. It is the place where the characters create a mutual support network, solidarity, affection. Symbolizes the best of the Brazilian,” explained Manuela Dias.
The first phase of the soap opera, however, will take place in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, where Maria de Fatima lives with her mother. This is where Bella Campos’s character will hold a photo shoot for the agency called Tomorrow, and takes the first steps to her career rise.
The soap opera also has scenes recorded in Salvador, Angra dos Reis and Paraty.

One of the soap opera’s most living and dynamic scenarios, Tomorrow has been thought of an industrial aesthetics that reflects the intense rhythm of the world of content production and will have two courtyards, as well as trees within its construction. “We use companies and coworking offices as a reference that have an alternative decoration,” said set designer Fábio Rangel.
Costume
The new “Vale Tudo” will also feature a costume based on the 1980s, but a little revamped for the present day.
“We will bring the 1980s, but with a rereading, with a more current face,” said Marcelo Dias, who with Rosemary Paiva, is responsible for characterizing the soap opera. “‘Vale Tudo’, in the 1980s, brought a lot of fashion, trend, and now, with this new version, we see that things are coming back,” added Rosemary.
For the Roitman, the costume designers were inspired by international series, as “Industry” and “Succession” and the movie “Anatomy of a Scandal” . To compose Marco Aurélio, lived by Alexandre Nero previously interpreted by Reginaldo Faria was inspired by the movie “Wall Street – Power and Greed.”
For the characterization of the characters of Vila Isabel, the inspiration was the residents of the North Zone neighborhood of Rio. “Each character has to do with a person who we photographed in the various trips to Vila Isabel. It has to do with places, with the bars, with the samba school, with September 28, finally with everywhere in the neighborhood,” said Rosemary.
Who killed Odete Roitman?
The audience will see a new Odete Roitman killer. In the last chapter of the novel, aired on January 6, 1989, the public found that the killer was Leila (Cássia Kis).
At the time, the plot authors did everything to avoid leaks on the outcome of the novel. They even sent the chapter script to the actors with seven pages missing. Even the management recorded five different outcomes on the last day, each with a different killer.
Not even the interpreters knew what the chosen one would be. Leila was not one of the main characters in the soap opera and even her name was little mentioned among the public’s guesses about Odete’s death.
However, in the 2025 version, Leila (Carolina Dieckman) will not be the murderer of Odete and the public, once again, will be in doubt of who will kill the character.
Interpreted by Beatriz Segall In 1988, the villain will now be lived by Debora Bloch.
Taís Araújo says he hardly agreed to interpret Raquel
