Soon after, Maeve stated that the idea is to keep what each actor understands the character’s character, respecting the dramaturgy. “No one is trying to imitate anyone, okay, imitating the 1988 actor manner at all. Finally, the actress also said that what can happen is some tribute. “For example, the character Solange Duprat, beautifully revived by Alice Wegmann, she uses those bows on her head, fringing, the way of speaking ‘Chérie’, this is a tribute to the 1988 soap opera, but that doesn’t mean Alice is trying to imitate actress Lidia Brondi, and this applies to all the other characters in the novel,” he concluded.
