Valve has tested over 100 games that will run on Valve’s upcoming Steam Deck console. Of the 106 games that will run, 60 have been tested for maximum compatibility, which means there are no control issues, the interface is great to read, and performance is good.
There are 41 other games that will require some tweaking to work properly. 5 games turned out to be unsupported, but 4 of them are VR games, which, of course, will not work on Steam Deck. The list of tested games is not on the Steam website, but is compiled by fans from SteamDB.
Valve previously announced that the Steam Deck portable gaming device will go on sale on February 25th. There are three options to choose from: a 64GB eMMC flash model for $399, a 256GB NVMe SSD model for $529, and a 512GB NVMe SSD model for $649.
The Steam Deck will feature an AMD quad-core processor based on Zen 2 architecture and a GPU based on AMD RDNA 2 architecture. The gadget is equipped with a 7-inch HD touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display brightness reaches 400 cd/m2 at 60 Hz.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.0 for controllers, accessories, and audio, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. It runs its own Steam OS 3.0 operating system, and the battery lasts up to 8 hours.
