The 49 -year -old singer Vanessa da Mata promises to delight London audiences on April 30 as part of the International Tour “Vem Sweet”, which celebrates her 20 years of career. The show will be held at Islington Assembly Hall, in the north of the British capital, and brings together hits by the artist alongside unpublished compositions.
One of the greatest voices of Brazilian popular music, Vanessa will land in Europe bringing in her luggage a selection of consecrated hits, new songs and a performance directed by Jorge Farjalla.
The Mato Grosso star said he believed the tour is more than presenting himself in different places. “It’s a unique experience to share our music and our story with the world,” she said.
On stage, the public will be able to revisit tracks that marked the season, such as “Good Luck/Good Luck” – which has gained international prominence through partnership with American singer Ben Harper, 55 -, “Don’t Leave Me” and “Oh, Ai, Ai”.
Vanessa da Mata, who released her first album in 2002, has already won a Latin Grammy and published the novel “The Daughter of the Flowers”.
