Vanessa da Mata will perform in Rio to celebrate 20 years of career

The singer from Mato Grosso Vanessa da Mata 48 years old, will celebrate 20 years of career with a show in Rio de Janeiro next Saturday (9).

The show that she will take to the Qualistage stage, in Barra da Tijuca, is what makes up the tour “Come Sweet “, from the album of the same name, which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the “Best Brazilian popular music album” category.

The show will also feature several successes that marked generations in the singer's voice.

The show, directed by Jorge Farjalla, is divided into three acts and presents Vanessa da Mata revisiting her personal and musical trajectory.

The singer combines the new songs with classic titles from her career, now reimagined for the creative context of the project.

Each of the acts has a different scenario, inspired by great names in Brazilian modernism, such as Oswald de Andrade, Lina Bo Bardi, Hélio Eichbauer, among others.

“I love Rio de Janeiro. This city has always welcomed me very well, and I performed historic shows there. This time it won't be any different. I'm sure whoever goes will be excited and have a lot of fun with me”, says the singer.
