«Vanity Fair Our Future», between design and sustainability: the success of the event

Today’s commitment to live better tomorrow. Great success for Vanity Fair Our Future, the event dedicated to sustainability and al design, staged from 7 to 9 September in the spaces Frame, the Milanese experience store of Condé Nast. Experts and enthusiasts took turns giving on stage concrete answers to the most urgent environmental issues, with the awareness that progress necessarily passes from respect for the environment and people: debates, live performances and green talks, for three days dedicated to ecological awareness.

Great turnout from the first day, thanks to the creative workshops held by Chiara Bottelli, Silviadeifiori e Alessandro Busci. Alessandra Prampolini, general director of WWF Italy, spoke about how sustainability is the best choice also for economic development, while Frida Doveil, architect and designer, insisted on how «It is necessary to learn to repair: objects, but also the past and human relationships». Teresa Agovino, environmental engineer, instead told how you can travel in a sustainable way e Lucia Cuffaro, spokesman for the Happy Degrowth Movement, insisted: “Everyone can do their part to save the planet.” Luca de Gaetano, president of Plastic Free, explained how to organize collection points for single-use plastic and waste, which risk suffocating our planet. It ended the day Alex Bellini, explorer and popularizer, who, speaking of his many adventures, talked about how to clean up seas and rivers.
