A police action dismantled a distribution scheme of electronic cigarettes (vapes) with marijuana . The incident took place in a set of rooms on Avenida Celso Garcia, in the Belenzinho neighborhood, East Zone of São Paulo.
During the action, agents from the 1st DIG (Anti-piracy) Police Station seized numerous vapes and bottles of liquid THC (a substance extracted from cannabis), which were stored in warehouses installed on site.
“The investigations pointed to the operation of a warehouse whose purpose was to sell vitamin supplements, cell phone accessories and prohibited vapes,” states the Deic (State Department of Criminal Investigations) regarding the place where the illegal products were manufactured.
“Electronic joints” were sold online and supplied tobacconists throughout the city.
Those involved in the scheme will be investigated for drug trafficking, crimes against public health and against industrial property.
