Vehicle manufacturers installed in Brazil produced 203,600 cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses in July this year, as announced by Anfavea this Friday (5)
The number represents a growth of 33.4% compared to July 2021, when 164,200 vehicles were produced, and is 7.5% higher than that recorded in the previous month, which had 203,600 new vehicles.
Year to date, the total number of vehicles assembled by the industry in the country is 1.31 million units.
Licensing also registered growth. There were 182 thousand in July, which represents an increase of 3.7% in the annual comparison, when there were 175.5 thousand licenses, and 2.2% when compared to the previous month, which had 178.1 thousand.
Regarding exports, Anfavea announced that there was an increase of 76.3% in the annual comparison.
In July this year, 41,900 vehicles were exported, against 23,800 in the same period last year.
Despite the annual growth, there was a drop of -11.4% compared to June 2022, when Anfavea recorded exports of 47,300 vehicles.
