The new comedy “Old Bandits” film of Claudio Torres (“The Invisible Woman” and “The Man from the Future”) will be responsible for bringing together a strong cast. “Velhos Bandidos” will follow retired couple Marta (Fernanda Montenegro) and Rodolfo (Ary Fontoura) as they plan a huge bank robbery. But for the robbery to be perfect, they need a couple of young robbers.
Nancy and Sid, played by Bruna Marquezine and Vladimir Brichta, will be the ones called up and will be the great partners in crime. The biggest problem for the group of thieves will be the obstinate investigator Oswaldo (Lázaro Ramos).
The filming of the feature film will take place in Rio de Janeiro starting on September 30th. The production is by Conspiração and written by Cláudio Torres, Fabio Mendes and Renan Flumian. The production is made by Renata Brandão, Juliana Capelini and Tania Pacheco.
Montenegro is still about to debut his new project, “I’m Still Here” which won the award for best screenplay at the Venice Film Festival.
