At the end. That’s what they say, right? Well, the rule definitely applies to this one Venice Film Festival 2023characterized by the total absence of Hollywood stars, held back across the ocean by the strike for the trade union struggle which sees them engaged in claiming their rights.
Among the very few exceptions to this forced absence of American stars, one stands out for its irrepressible splendor: that of Jessica Chastainwhich arrives in the lagoon on the penultimate evening of the festival to accompany Michael Franco’s film, Memory.
Total black for stars and aspiring stars on the Venetian red carpet. But it is not a dress code, but a simple coincidence. From which, for once, the actors emerge victorious
