Venice 78: Can Yaman and the consecration on the Lido

From Belgrade to Rome, and then straight to Venice. Can Yaman, who seems to have allowed himself a moment of pure fun in the Serbian city, perhaps to forget the end of his love affair with Diletta Leotta, has landed at the seventy-eighth edition of the Venice Film Festival. “Great day tomorrow, I’m super charged for the award ceremony,” wrote the Turkish actor on Instagram, who was awarded a special mention in the Filming Italy Best Movie Award. The appointment, with which the best television series and the best Italian talents are awarded every year, has chosen to pay a small tribute to Yaman, who has found the reason for his popularity in fiction.

With Daydreamer, which aired on Canale 5 until last May, the Turkish actor was able to break through the hearts of the public. Which, shortly, will see its television commitments doubled. Yaman, whose story with Diletta Leotta has revived the gossip columns for the first part of 2021, has been chosen to take on the role of Sandokan in a tv series. But, before viewers get to know his version of the hero, the actor will drop into another, apparently less onerous role. Mediaset announced in August that Yaman will be the male lead of Purple like the sea, fiction based on the novel Do you know summer?.
