Major US payment company PayPal continues to expand the user base of its new stablecoin PYUSD. Users of the popular Venmo application began to gain access to it.

In a statement, the company wrote that the “full launch of PayPal USD” in the Venmo app will take place in the coming weeks, however, some users can already use the token for payments and investments.

“PYUSD is already used in the native cryptocurrency space and will become increasingly available as the ecosystem grows. Just a few weeks after the launch, PayPal USD is supported by several cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase, Crypto.com, Bitstamp and Kraken,” the company said in a statement.

Let us remind you that the PayPal USD stablecoin was launched in early August. However, according to the analytical company Nansen, in the first weeks after its introduction, PYUSD did not gain much popularity. However, analysts believe that the stablecoin will be widely used in PayPal services.
