The Italian brand Versace opened its third luxury hotel last Saturday (23). The new property is in Macao special administrative region of China, and is the first of the brand to arrive in Asia.
There are a total of 271 accommodations, ranging from 55 to 350 square meters, spread over 12 floors. The hotel occupies one of the three towers of the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau a five-star resort that already has a hotel dedicated to fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
O Palazzo Versace Macau It has stylistic and creative direction by Donatella Versace, the brand's current creative director, and evokes an Italian palazzo. With the help of 80,000 handmade mosaics, the entrance is made up of a large lobby that resembles the brand's atelier in Milan.

The bedding sets and custom-made upholstery have oriental elements and the furniture is from the Versace house line.
The head of Medusa, symbol of the brand, and geometric compositions characteristic of the company are present in the decoration, including inside the two swimming pools. The indoor pool is 27 meters long, decorated with Italian mosaics, and the outdoor pool is surrounded by a colonnade with views of the garden.
In the wellness area, a spa offers Mediterranean rituals in seven treatment suites and also has saunas and a hammam.
In terms of gastronomy, the hotel has a starred restaurant. Don Alfonso 1890 , which has a menu with southern Italian flavors in a Venetian atmosphere. The other restaurant is La Scala del Palazzo which resembles the staircase of the studio in Milan and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and aperitifs.
According to the official website of Palazzo Versace Macau, daily prices start at more than US$200 (around R$1,000). The property is located in Cotai, a region of Macau with casinos and resorts 10 minutes from the international airport.
The opening party for the new hotel was attended by Donatella Versace and famous guests, such as the singer John Legend the model Chrissy Teigen South Korean rapper and actor Taecyeon and the Chinese actress Zhao Lusi .
Versace has two other hotels in the world: the Palazzo Versace Gold Coast, in Australia, and the Palazzo Versace Dubai.
