“Very bold”, says singer who had equipment stolen next to police station in Rio

Singer Suzana Carvalho used social media to expose a theft of which she was a victim, this week, in the central region of Rio de Janeiro. The artist had sound equipment stolen from her car, which was parked a few meters from a police station. “Very bold,” he commented on what happened.

Outraged, the singer explained to her followers that she left the vehicle parked very close to the building where she lives, which is in front of the 5th Police Station, in Mem de Sá.

The car was parked on Tuesday morning (25), when the artist was returning from a night of work. On the evening of the same day, she found the car with broken windows and realized that criminals had taken a black speaker and a microphone kit.

According to Suzana, her intention in recording the video was to alert other artists who follow her if they happen to see these items being sold. “They are the product of theft,” she warned.

“We work, we work hard to buy our things with dignity”, he emphasized.

Now, the artist is promoting a campaign on her Instagram to receive donations that can contribute to the purchase of new items.

According to the Civil Police, the case was registered at the 5th DP (Mem de Sá). “Agents are carrying out investigations to clarify the facts and identify the perpetrators,” the corporation reported.
