Via gov.gr the single aid applications 2022

Meeting at the offices of OPEKEPE under the leadership of the Minister. Of Rural Development and Food, G. Georgantas took place today at noon with the President, D. Melas, as well as with the Administration and the directors of the Organization.

The object of the meeting was the commitment and cooperation of the executives of the organization to achieve the substantial change of the operational status that exists in the submission, collection and processing of the Single Aid Applications, but also of the Integrated Aid Management System (IACS) as a whole.

The ministry announced the transition “to the new era with the implementation of a digital leap, utilizing the use of new technologies, within a framework of absolute transparency”

In particular, the launch of the operating platform is expected to take place on Thursday 14/04/22, utilizing and integrating all the new available advanced data and tools that contribute to the implementation of this top reform in the service of the Greek farmer. The process for submitting aid applications this year was designed and will be implemented, as the first simple digital structural intervention in the agricultural sector and is a fulfillment of the Government’s commitment to switch public administration information systems to a public cloud computing (gov.gr).

The submission, management and evaluation of aid applications, as well as the payment process will be done immediately, quickly, without charges, with the institutionalization of the state, ensuring the absolute money of the public.

The financial support of the farmers’ income, guaranteed, will be fully compatible with the European and national legislation, included in the National Strategic Planning of the new Programming period of the Common Agricultural Policy. Also, the necessary infrastructure is created for a number of actions and projects related to the utilization of the resources of the Recovery Fund.

In this way, at the same time, the institutional role of OPEKEPE is strengthened, the data of our farmers and stockbreeders are secured, the operating costs are significantly reduced and the cross-checks are facilitated. “Finally, it is noted that the reform that is announced, strengthens and ratifies the lawful and fair distribution of Community funds for the benefit of the public interest”, the announcement concludes.
