Viareggio, the true identity of the man hit by Cinzia Del Pino and the sisters’ appeal

His name was not Said and he was not Algerian. The man hit and killed in Viareggio during the night between Sunday and Monday by Cinzia Del Pino65 years old, who had been robbed by him shortly before, his name was Nourdine Naziki, he was 52 years old – he had been living in Italy for 24 years – and he was Moroccan of Casablanca. He reported it The Tyrrhenian Sea. Without a fixed abode, the man lived by his wits, including some theft.

Since she lived in Viareggio, Nourdine Naziki was monitored by the policewho had asked for his repatriation, but, as the Tuscan newspaper reports, «the authorities had not given much response to these requests, and therefore the man had remained in circulation in the city». After his death he had been identified as Said Malkoun, but The Algerian embassy had denied that “Said” was one of its citizens. Only through friends, the Muslim community and family members was his true identity revealed.

Her sisters, interviewed by the Moroccan channel Chouf Tvnow they are asking for justice, for what appears to have been a real execution. «Not even an animal is killed in this way“, they said. “We are aware that Said was not on the road when the accident occurred, but was hit on the sidewalk. The perpetrator, therefore, got into her car with the clear intent of running over our brother. After that, you can clearly see how she gets out, heads toward Said, looks at him coldly, gets back in and drives away.”

And again: «Our family is in shock and asks for justice to be done. Above all, we cannot understand the fact that the perpetrator of the crime was only given house arrest. Said was a good person: all those who knew him confirm this. We ask our brothers and sisters in the Maghreb to help our family obtain justice.”

Cinizia Del Pino, now back home with the electronic bracelethe explained to investigators: «I didn’t want to kill, I just wanted to get my bag which contained the house keys and documents, I was afraid that that man could come to my house».

The corpse was subjected to the autopsy by the coroner Stefano Pierotti: Trauma and injuries were found on the body, which will now be returned for the Muslim funeral rite in Morocco. Lawyer Enrico MarzaduriCinzia Dal Pino’s lawyer, reached by telephone by the broadcast The Mosquitosays: «The only thing I can anticipate» from the autopsy «is that there are no signs of the robber being overwhelmed by the car», in the sense that the car “didn’t run over it”. There was definitely a repeated impact but there are no signs of overpowering» that indicate «injuries or marks from tires and the car passing over the body», «there is no passing over». At the first impact of the car against the man, «practically nothing happened, he fell to the ground, got up and started walking again in the same direction, then she saw that the situation was evolving in a certain way and tried again to stop the robber by hitting him twice in an almost instantaneous sequence, after one or two seconds she hits him and ends up with the hood against a rigid structure, a shop column». And again: «There was no persecution, I am inclined to exclude it. It didn’t take three or four times as some people said based on the images, I understand that, but the images need to be examined calmly.”
