Silver Wedding Anniversary! Celebrating 25 years of marriage this Thursday (4), the ex-Spice Girls Victoria Beckham 50, and the former football player David Beckham 49, shared clicks with the behind the scenes of the ceremony which took place in 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle, in Dublin, Ireland.
In fact, the popular event was featured in the documentary series “Beckham” from Netflix, which follows the athlete’s meteoric career.
In the album, Victoria made sure to share with her 16 million followers on Instagram some of the preparations for the party, including testing the thrones on the set, David writing the vows and one of the last fittings of the wedding dress. See photos in the gallery above .
“Looking back on the days leading up to our wedding 25 years ago brings back so many memories… I love you so much David,” she wrote in the post.
Meanwhile, David posted a video compiling other moments from the ceremony, such as the exchange of rings at the altar and his wife’s attempt to wear the same purple outfit they wore during the party. The iconic look was designed by Antonio Berardi.
