An app driver filmed the moment he was robbed by two men in the north of São Paulo. The case occurred last Sunday (19) and one of the criminals, a 28-year-old man, was arrested red-handed.

The robbers requested the ride as if they were passengers. During the journey, one of them, who was armed with a knife, announced the robbery. The other individual claimed to have a firearm.
After a few minutes, the robbers released the driver and took the vehicle and the professional’s belongings.
For security reasons, every day, before going to work, the victim sends his location to his wife, which made it possible to track his phone. The device had been thrown under an overpass on the Anhanguera highway.
When the driver found the cell phone, images of the robbery were also recovered. Furthermore, in the application it was possible to identify the requester’s name and the street on which the race was called.
After patrolling, the police spotted the robber, who tried to escape and was pursued by the police until he was arrested. The man was taken to the 33rd DP (Vila Mangalot).
