Video: Brazilian prison for US immigration generates protests

The population of a city of Massachusetts, in the United States, held a protest after a Brazilian was arrested on Thursday (8), according to WCVB, affiliated network of CNN.

Police reported that it was called around 11 am on Thursday to attend a complaint that a federal agent would be surrounded by a group of 25 people and that ICE agents refused to submit a warrant to the crowd.

The corporation pointed out that when they arrived at the scene, “they observed a chaotic scene with several federal agents from various agencies trying to arrest a woman.”

“The crowd was agitated and several people were putting their hands on Worcester’s federal and police officers in an attempt to prevent the vehicle and the person arrested from leaving. Worcester police tried to calm the situation and keep everyone safe,” he added.

Also according to police, a young woman-who did not have the nationality or identity disclosed-with a newborn in her arms prevented the departure of a car. After requesting other agents, she handed the child to another person left the front of the vehicle.

In addition, it was informed that a 38 -year -old Ashley Spring was arrested after pushing police officers who were trying to arrest the girl and throw an unknown liquid in them.

She was accused of physical assault against police, physical assault with dangerous weapon (due to unknown liquid), disorderly conduct and interference with police work.
