A runaway car ran over a pedestrian walking through the bike lane and collided with another vehicle after breaking into the opposite lane. The accident occurred last Tuesday (13) at Avenida Rogaciano Leite, in the Luciano Cavalcante neighborhood of Fortaleza.
According to the Municipal Traffic and Citizenship Authority (AMC), the sequence of collisions began when the driver of a Fiat Uno, which was traveling along Ricardo de Araújo Braga Street, advanced the preferred and hit the side of a Honda Civic.
With the impact, the Civic driver lost control of the steering, crossed the central flowerbed, ran over the pedestrian and hit a fusca where mother and son were. The three victims were rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). Watch the video:
