A child managed to escape under the gate of a daycare center in São Paulo (SP), last Wednesday (26).
As soon as the child’s absence was noticed, the daycare management immediately notified those responsible and accessed the monitoring images.
In security camera footage from a neighboring residence, the child is seen leaving the school through the gate and celebrating immediately afterwards.

The case, which occurred at the Emília Ferreiro Early Childhood Education Center (CEI), is being investigated and was registered at the 74th Police District (Parada de Taipas).
According to the Municipal Department of Education, the child was found without needing medical attention and returned to activities at CEI.
However, the São Paulo Public Security Department (SSP) reported that she was found by locals after falling into a ravine and suffering injuries to her body.
A crime investigation was requested and the City of São Paulo reported that all appropriate measures will be taken to investigate the incident.
