During a Military Police operation carried out on Thursday morning (26) in the north of Rio de Janeiro, a group of criminals invaded a condominium to try to escape arrest.
Images recorded by residents of the region show the moment in which one of the criminals is subdued by police on the roof of the building, located in Morro do Urubu. See below:
The Military Police reported that, by early afternoon, they had seized three rifles, four pistols and six grenades, in addition to narcotics. Seven suspects were detained. One of them was injured, but was taken to the Salgado Filho State Hospital.
The PM reports that the action aims to combat vehicle theft and drug trafficking in the region.
