A delivery man was attacked and threatened by an outsourced security guard at Hospital de Base in the Federal District. The case occurred last Thursday (18).
According to the administration of the health unit, the motorcyclist did not obey an order given by the security guard and entered the pedestrian access with his motorcycle.
In a video obtained by CNN , the motorcyclist records the moment he is slapped by the guard, who says: “Go away, you’re going to get shot.” Still during the recording, the delivery man claims that the security guard was pointing a gun at him and that the employee had kicked his motorcycle.

The Institute for Strategic Health Management of the Federal District (IgesDF) said, in a note, that “although the episode required a surveillance approach, excessive conduct on the part of the outsourced security guard at the Base Hospital of the Federal District is not part of the security protocol. performance.”
The administration stated that the motorcyclist, by entering the hospital riding his motorcycle through the pedestrian crossing, was threatening the integrity of the users present there. IgesDF also said that the delivery man did not respond to repeated requests for him to use the correct entrance, where the necessary identification and access records are carried out.
The management of Hospital de Base reported that it has already taken all measures to ensure that similar cases do not happen again and that it has requested the outsourced company to offer educational measures for its employees.
He also clarified that refresher courses and training are constantly required for all professionals who provide services to the Institute and that the main access points to the units have armed guards.
The Institute for Strategic Health Management of the Federal District reiterated that it repudiates any act of violence and that it requested the outsourced company to remove the employee involved.
