The doctor and former councilman of São Gonçalo, Armando Marins, mocked the situation after being arrested in the act on Friday (16). He is suspected by the death of patient Priscila dos Santos Nascimento, 42.
According to police, the suspect was filed after a search and seizure warrant of the 78th DP (Fonseca). Out of expiration date were found within their clinic and residence.
The victim died after performing an aesthetic procedure to treat varicose veins in March this year at the Armando clinic. The investigation points to strong evidence that the use of overdue and possibly violated material would have caused a widespread infection, leading to the woman’s death.
In videos recorded during the arrest of the man, he sends a kiss to the camera, mocking the occasion.
