A 64 -year -old elderly woman was rescued from helicopter after falling into a hole during a trail at Morro do Saboó, in São Roque, in the interior of São Paulo. The teams of the 15th Fire Department rescue around 11am last Saturday (19), supported by the Eagle 16 Military Police helicopter.
The elderly woman had injuries to the lower limbs as well as in the head region. Although wounded, the woman remained conscious and oriented.
Due to the difficulty of access to the site, due to the geography of the region, the Firefighters Group requested the support of the Military Police Eagle Helicopter.
In released images, you can see the approach of the aircraft, the presence of firefighters with the woman on land and the moment she was immobilized and lifted by the rescue teams.
Then a maneuver called McGuire was performed, which is a rescue technique that uses a string system to extract people from inaccessible locations.
The victim was rescued and taken to a point of support and after a health unit.
