Five people died and one was injured after a vehicle collided with a tree in the Pina neighborhood, in Recife (PE). The accident occurred in the early hours of this Monday (22).
The incident occurred at around 4:30 am on Boa Viagem Avenue. According to the Fire Department, of the six victims, two were found outside the vehicle and three were trapped in the wreckage. None of them have been identified.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) stated that one of the victims was in serious condition and was taken to the Hospital da Restauração. The other five people were pronounced dead at the scene.
With the impact of the collision, the vehicle’s engine was thrown and ended up meters away from the accident area.
The Military Police state that there was no other vehicle involved at the time of the accident.
