Two horses were rescued after being trapped on the track of a train In Vassouras, municipality in the south-central region of Rio de Janeiro, on the morning of Monday (5).
According to information from the Fire Department, the team was called around 6:10 am by a pedestrian passing by. The animals were rescued with the aid of ropes and a Munck truck, equipment used to lift and move heavy loads.
The firefighters managed to remove the horses from the rail around 10am. See below:
The Fire Department reported that the rescue operation was successful and the horses were not injured.
After the rescue, the Military Police received the horses, located the owner and returned them to the owner.
