An employee who works in the death administrative department at the Municipal Hospital Dr Moacyr Rodrigues do Carmo, in Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense, was attacked by a co-worker during work hours, last Sunday (20). The case was recorded by local security cameras.
In the images it is possible to see the employee in her sector, when a man in a blue uniform enters the place and starts attacking her with punches. A third woman who is at the scene observes the situation. After a few minutes, two other individuals came across the confusion and tried to separate the employees. Look:
In a statement, the City of Duque de Caxias, responsible for the unit, informed that all legal measures had been taken, culminating in the dismissal of the employee. Furthermore, a police report was registered.
According to the ministry, the attacked employee was welcomed and treated in the unit itself.
“The Municipal Health Department and HMMRC management emphasize that they do not tolerate this type of behavior on the part of their employees, and that the case is under the responsibility of the police station where the incident was registered”, says an excerpt from the note.
The case was registered at the 59th DP (Duque de Caxias) and investigations are ongoing to clarify the facts.
